To whomever it may concern,
I will no longer be actively updating this site with any content for an indefinite amount of time. Content has been dropping off to a quality I am not happy with and due to recent happenings in my personal life, I no longer have the time needed to keep up the quality and quantity of content I want to. For whatever it's worth, I'd like to thank any of my readers for sticking around this long.

Beakycon List Building, Part Deux
I've gotten in a couple of games with the previous list, and have concluded that:
>Haywire Wyches kick ass
>There need to be more of said Haywire Wyches
>Vect doesn't make back his points that often
>Disintergrators are only good en masse
>Dark Lances shouldn't be my only anti-tank.
Now, this is just in regard to my own play style. I tend to leave at least two squads of warriors hanging back, prefer to out maneuver as opposed to outright killing, and try to avoid CC if I can manage it. That means that having a big Melee beatstick (Vect n Pals) isn't worth it, and I need some more tarpit potential to hold off dedicated assault squads.

Warhammer 40,000:Kill Team review
Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team is a dual stick shooter release on Xbox Live Arcade the other day for 800 Microsoft Points (Ten dollars US), and I figured I'd go over it in case anyone is interested in picking it up.

Leaked White Dwarf, Storm of Magic Pics and SoB in August
Sort of a sensational title, but I found some pictures with some interesting stuff in them.
So if these pictures are to be believed, Storm Of Magic will be getting us some really cool new models and Sisters are being relegated to a WD List.

Infinity: more stuff has arrived
I got some more stuff for my Haqqislam force. Messing around with the Infinity army builder, I can build about 200 points. granted, I only have a passing knowledge of the rules, and have never actually played, but its nice to know I could if I ever get the chance.

Citadel Finecast-Haters gonna hate.
Just got my first Finecast models in the mail today, a squad of Incubi, and I have to say, they are frakking kick ass. No irregularities other than minimal flash. Mold lines are almost non existent on them. I don't know if I got lucky, but I am now inclined to believe that all the bile spewing forth from the internet is coming from a small vocal minority, as these guys are a marked improvement over metal.

Infinity: Haqqislam
So Dzer0 over at Emerald Coast Wargamers/Elves and Angels got me into Infinity the Game, and I recently picked up the Haqqislam faction's starter box. The sculpts are great and the the casting is some of the best I have ever seen, though it doesn't make up for all the models being made of metal.

Kabal of the Howling Gale 2k Tourney list
List time. This list focuses around creating a target rich environment, while having each unit be able to support the other.
Several Raiders ensure that it is difficult to prioritize targets, and each unit packs some form of anti-infantry and anti-tank. Speed is integral to this list, everyone needs to be able to be at any point on the table in one turn, so there is only one foot unit, for holding objectives in my deployment zone from turn one.

Deathwing Command Squad: Sons of the Lion
I recently received some resin shields and pauldrons from Scribor, and picked up a squad of GK Terminators, to create a command squad for Beliel. Behold, the Sons of the Lion:
The bases are from Micro Art studio, and dead sexy at that. Here's some close ups of the pauldrons and shields.
And here is the Scribor "SF Angel Knight" that I'm working on, to count as Beliel.
Sergeant
Stand Bearer (sans standard)
Apothecary, the sword counts as a Thunder Hammer

Techmarine
Currently working on a techmarine, as I'll be needing him to repair the slew of Land Raiders and Dreadnoughts my Deathwing will be having. I started this army from the get go as an Apoc force, and I plan to end up with a full company. Lots and lots of tanks and dreads.
Now, this is probably THE model that got me interested in GW. I love this model to death and I super excited to have finally gotten a hold of it.
Check it out:

Dark Angels (Venerable) Dreadnought
Sorry for the recent lack of content, I've been busy studying for SATs and I'll porbably be busy with final exams in two weeks, but I'm still trying to get some hobby done. Anyway, here's a dreadnought I've been working on. Its the dread from AoBR with a new front plate.
I'm planning to magnetize the arms at some point, and as I am ordering a Forge World Dark Angels Dreandought, and I want arm swapping to be viable.
Yes, the scroll does say 'MEGA'

Kit-bashed Damoclese Command Rhino
I found a rhino from my failed Blood Angels project, and dedcided to build a Damoclese for apoc/friendly games. Made from bits from the Bastion, Rhino (of course) and some doors that I am not to sure of where they came from, only that I have them.
The Sarge sure digs the treads

Ravenwing Killhawk WIP
Did some more work on the killhawk including pulling the wings back, green stuffing some spaces and adding in some plasticard.
I'm really impressed with how versatile the Storm Raven kit is. Its a really modular set of parts thats really asking to be messed around with.

Void Raven painted
A quick post before I'm gone off to Mexico for spring break. Painted the Void Raven to what I consider table standard. Besides the cockpit screen needing some work its almost done. Check it out:

Sand and Glue, cheap basing
Or how I learned to stop worrying about and love basing.
To add to my trench works tutorial, figured I'd go over how to make some quality bases on the cheap.
What you'll need:
Sand
Glue
A full bits/scrap box
Now, I know that most of you have a box full of bits or unused models somewhere, I know I do. Lets but those bits to use. Here is my random stuff box:

Ravenwing Killhawk
So I got it into my head that a flying transport for Bikes would be pretty cool, and to take advantage of the Stormraven and give me a new hobby project, I have begun work on the Ravening Killhawk. The WIP rules for it can be found here. To make this I am using the parts from the Stormraven and Valkyrie.

Basing Trench Works
Basic tutorial for getting rid of all those spare sprues lying around and getting a more flavoful base than the standard rocks and grass.
What you'll need:
Plastic Glue
Green Stuff
Clippers
Spare plastic sprues
Some sand
I'm using a Cygnar Trencher on a 30mm base.Grab some sprues and set them aside, try and keep them about the same length, and at about shoulder height to the model you are basing.

Deathwing Bone Armor
Finished up a 5 man unit of terminators, each with Chain-fist, one with power sword, from the AoBR box set. Chainfists where made by cutting off a length of Chain blade from left over bits and then a quick filling down of lower part of the power fist, then gluing the chainsaw part on.

On the use of Wyches(Article being reworked)
I'm gonna sit down here with all my fellow Dark Eldar players, and have a chat about our favorite group of homicidal gladiator super models, the Wyches. Settle down in your seat, grab a beverage and get ready.

Dark Angels Test Models
I finished assembling 5 Terminators, a Dreadnought, 6 Bikes, and an attack bike. Using Army Painter colored primer "Skeleton Bone", my Deathwing terminators will be much easier to do than I had thought. Here are some pictures, of Belial (from the AoBR terminator squad,) and a Ravenwing Biker,
